Vintage Cushman Electric Golf Cart And Lestronic Charger - Great Condition

For sale is our Vintage 1975 Cushman"Town and Fairway" Combo I Golf Cart. There were only 273 of these made between 1974/75! The back seat folds over allowing golf clubs to fit in there OR folds flat into a platform. It has been a solid performer and is in great condition. Sadly, we no longer use it and since the batteries are still fresh ($700 cost), would like to see it go to a good home.

My father used this for the past few years to fetch his mail, work around the yard, etc. And this would be a great cart for the same kind of use. The back seat folds down to become a flatbed if needed or rolled down to secure golf clubs. Hence, the Combo title. If you're interested, there is some info on the internet where you can see how these work.

We re-furbed this cart about 10 years ago and used it exclusively at Disney World ..... hence the Muppet themed paint job. There is one spot where paint is peeling off, as this is a steel body cart ..... not fiberglass. The original seat coverings and roof cover are all intact. I only made coverings for those and they can easily be removed. The original coverings are Mint green/dark green.

The tires are in good condition. The batteries are new as of a couple of years ago. It runs fantastic. My husband is an Electrical Engineer and re-wired the cart bringing it up to new standards. The Lestronic unit works perfectly to charge it.
