You are looking at one of the baddest custom GEM electric vehicles on the market today!! This is a 2009 year model GEM car, more commonly referred to as a (generation 2 model GEM). The generation 2 model cars had all factory upgrades including improved double wishbone front suspension, rear 4 link suspension with coil over shocks at every wheel, disc brakes, improved steering, improved ergonomics and handling, improved range and easier drive-ability.
In the world of GEM electric vehicles, the generation 2 models (2005-2015) are much more highly desirable than other year models due to their easier drive-ability and range. This GEM car was completely torn apart, then custom rebuilt from the ground up. Essentially everything on this car is new and upgraded in some way. New paint, new interior and upholstery, new rims, new tires, new floor mat, new axle boots, brand new sealed maintenance free batteries, built and programmed T4 controller for faster speed, new high power 7HP high performance motor, new Pioneer Bluetooth sound system, new lighting and electronics, new terminals and fittings, new roof rack and board pads, new rear clip in seat kit.... its all new and improved!! This car draws a crowd everywhere you go.

You can NOT drive this car without people stopping to stare or commenting or asking questions. We designed this car to be the absolute best it can be. Every aspect of the vehicle was thought out and built to spec. This car handles far better than a stock GEM car and accelerates with incredible power and torque!!
We installed all brand new sealed maintenance free batteries, new upgraded built in Delta Q charging system, and built programmed controller for faster speed. Top speed is between 35MPH and the ride is very smooth. EXTERIOR:One of the more important features of this particular GEM car is the ability to install the (included) clip in rear seat kit. We designed this car with both rear attachments so you can drive it to the grocery store with the locking rear trunk kit, or pop the trunk off and click the rear seat in, then take the kids or your friends for a ride around the neighborhood. The rear trunk kit and rear seat kit are designed to come off in 5 seconds with the simple twist of the locking clasp.
So you can easily swap from one attachment to the next in little to no time. You can also include a golf kit attachment too if so desired. Just let us know and we can help with adding a golf kit if you would like. This GEM car is finished in beautiful 2-tone Titanium silver metallic over jet black. Look closely and you will notice the hand painted multi layer smoked flames on the front nose, upper rear trunk lid and rear fender edges.
This gives the car a "one of a kind" custom touch and is guaranteed to turn heads everywhere you go. Not only is the car fully painted (inside and out), we also just installed all brand new black trim seals and black body seals along with all new black body bolts and black hardware. This gives the car a detailed, (finished) fit and feel. We just installed brand new "Black Optics" LED headlights which are 300% brighter than stock and require less energy to power. We just smoke tinted all of the tail lights and turn signals with smoked lenses front and rear.
We just installed new front grill inlay decals too. There's a custom hand built EV Designs low profile roof rack too with new Dakine roof rack pads. This can hold surf boards or paddle boards or even small ladders too. We just added brand new 17" DS racing black machined rims with black billet adapters and black socket tuner lug nuts. The tires are brand new 205-40-17 radial directional sport design which are fully street legal and drive outstanding This car has the custom chrome front headlight bezels and custom chrome front tubular bumper too.
INTERIOR:Look closely and you will notice the inner seat pod and floor pan of the car is finished in black. The arm rest handles were shot in black. The lower dash was finished in matching titanium silver metallic, while the upper dash lid was done in satin black. The seats were done in black with blakc carbon fiber diamond centers. Look closely and you will notice the diamonds are done in silver "double stitch" thread with silver piping around the outer edges.
We added 2 inches of additional padding inside the seats for additional comfort and a thicker appearance, which dramatically helps. We installed new black retractable low profile seat belts too. We also just installed larger exterior rear view mirrors for increased rear visibility. There's a new EV Designs black dash mat too. ELECTRONICS & POWERTRAIN:This car has 6 brand new sealed maintenance free 12v high power batteries installed February 10th of 2022.
This car has an upgraded built in Delta Q smart charger which has been properly set to the correct battery algorithm so it charges correctly every time. This charging system is designed to always remain plugged in so you can leave it for as long as you wish. The car can not (over charge). This car has a brand new Pioneer Bluetooth sound system installed. The main Pioneer media player head unit is mounted in the upper dash.
There are dual 6.5" high power 4 way speakers in the lower dash and YES its LOUD!! We also just installed brand new custom interior and underbody LED lighting with remote control function. Once you turn the LED switch on, you can use the hand held remote and select any color you want. Red, green, yellow, orange, purple, dark blue, teal blue or white. You can also select flashing mode or blinking mode where the lights will flicker and flash from one color to the next.
Or you can select (music mode) and the lights will dance to the beat of the music. We currently have the lights set to blue, which matches the car perfectly. However.... you can set the lights to any color you would like through simply the press of a button on the remote control. OVERALL: Here at EV Designs, we specialize in custom GEM electric vehicles. We have built, customized and tricked out hundreds of GEM cars over the years.
We do everything in house and it's all done by hand. All of our lift kits are done by hand, specific to that particular vehicle. All of our roof racks, front pre runner bumpers, side rocker steps, golf kit attachments, tow hitch receivers and bed side rails are done by hand by our highly skilled fabrication tech. All of our paint jobs and upholstery work is done in house. You will not find another GEM car like this, anywhere.
