Hello there and welcome to this listing for a Freerider Kensington S All-Terrain Mobility Scooter with delivery available (see below). There is plenty of tread on the knobbly tyres with absolutely no signs of perishing, in lovely condition set aside a few nicks and bits here and there from regular use presented in Candy Apple Red, this can also be used as a single seat golf buggy after the addition of a cart bag holder on the rear as per photos. This is a Class 3 vehicle meaning it’s legal for both road and pavement use with a low and high speed setting switch. Currently fitted with ‘summer’ mats, it also comes with the original and more robust mats which can be used in winter, front and rear lights (front light turns in the direction of the wheels) reverse bleeper, indicators all round, hazard lights and horn all in perfect working condition plus reflectors, front mounted basket, a chrome front bumper, rear view mirror, seatbelt (very rare to find that optional extra on these) and anti-wheelie bar at the rear for increased safety. I have stretched a compression top over the back of the seat too for a number of reasons – firstly, it keeps the back cool in sunny weather, secondly it covers up a few imperfections and lastly (and ingeniously) I use the sides to hold my mobile phone and a small umbrella !
It can legally be driven to your local course then used as a golf buggy before toodling back home again after playing – no need to use your car (fuel saving and very ‘green’) no faffing with ramps, no loading and unloading, all with the very minimum of fuss and hassle – just stick your clubs on the back at home and off you go. If you’ve been struggling to make it round the full 18 holes of late and enjoy the game but don’t want to be forced to give it up then this is for you. Conserve the energy you would have used for walking four miles or more and use that in your golf swing to (hopefully) shoot lower scores and so enjoy the game later into old age. This scooter comes complete with charger, front carry basket and for added peace of mind two 50Ah black box SLK batteries which are the largest capacity available for this model but please be aware there are no guarantees on these as they are consumables - the published range is 25 miles with this size of batteries although a friend with the same scooter says she can achieve 19 miles on hers. Please don’t confuse this with the lesser (older) Kensington model, this is the later ‘S’ variant with far better spec and major improvements in all areas.
At time of listing, this was the cheapest Kensington S on classifieds board - others were £895, £1250 and £2160 (gasp !) - plus they were all collection-only whereas I am offering optional delivery and mine has the golf buggy option. Simply type "Freerider Kensington S" into the search bar then sort by "Highest Price" and you'll see a massive price difference between mine and others currently available on a Buy It Now / Fixed Price format listing. Also at time of listing, mine was the only road legal single seat golf buggy available on the whole of classifieds board. Specifications : • Overall Width 25" / 63cm • Overall Length 55" / 139.7 cm • Max Range with 50Ah batteries : 25-30 miles • Maximum user weight 136 kg / 300lbs / 25 stone • Ground clearance 8.5cm / 3.4" • Total weight excluding batteries 68kgs/150lbs Collection is from Beeston NG9 2TD and I am retired so can be here any time that suits you best, or I will deliver this anywhere in mainland UK and possibly beyond for the price of fuel – no more, no less. I have done this with a few larger items over the years and find this opens up the listing to a much wider audience so if this appeals to you and you're unable to get to me or do not have suitable transport to get it back home then please do get in contact with your postcode and I will tell you exactly how much it will cost me in fuel to yours and back.
That said, viewing is highly recommended - encouraged in fact so both parties are happy and there are no surprises. Please study all photos very carefully to satisfy yourself you are happy with your purchase before committing to buy. There may be a small amount of flexibility on price but that would have to be discussed in person as opposed to via messages. With regards to payment, the only option available from the dropdown list was "Cash on Pickup" but I am equally happy with bank transfer if the funds clear immediately. If you require any specific photos please do let me know, there is space for one more of your choice.
Any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me and I will respond as quickly as possible. Thanks for looking………..
