2009 Miles electric car OR70 it's basically the same as the ZX40 model but doesn't have a governor so it will go 35 instead of having a top speed of 25. So it still doesn't go fast enough to go out on the highway but it's perfect for around town. It was designed for off-road use they mostly made them for college campuses and NASA bought some of them for their campus so it never came with a title. I talked with my local DMV and they ran the VIN number and they said that they could issue a title for it I would just have to fill out the paperwork to apply for a lost title. But the county I live in allows small electric cars on the county roads without license plates or insurance so I never went through the process of filing for a title.
It might be good to verify with your local DMV to see if it is legal to drive on the roads where you live. I think in most places you would have to file for a title and get plates for it. The car drives great. It doesn't have air conditioning but it has a heater the radio works but the CD player I think needs to be cleaned it sometimes gets CD stuck in it and sometimes it won't play. The vinyl seats had a lot of sun damage so I re-died the final with UV resistant die but you can see in the picture of the drivers seat there's little cracks in the Vinyl.
The odometer reads 8000 miles but the car only has about 3000 miles on it get original speedometer was acting flaky so I swapped it out with a used one. The car also comes with a lot of extra parts I have a set of extra with wheels with good tires and a lot of the electronic components and trim pieces and lights. The guy I got the car from had a parts car so I took as money extra parts that could. I just put 12 brand-new sealed LGM 110 amp hour batteries in it. It originally had 6 larger batteries that were really hard to find and expensive so I modified the battery compartment slightly to hold 12 that are more common and have a 3rd more capacity than the originals.
I don't know exactly how far their car will go on the charge on a flat road. I only use the car to go back and forth to town from my house but I live on top of the mountain so there's about a 2000 foot elevation gain which wears down the batteries pretty quick. It will go about 40 miles on a charge with the big hills I'm guessing it would do about double that if it was relatively flat. That's all I can think of to say about it if you have any questions feel free to ask.
