Nikon Nikkor 600mm f/4 G Swm Vr Ed If Lens

The lens comes in Nikon's original durable aluminum case to protect the AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4G VR. Features a specially designed padded interior to protect the lens on the go. It's still Nikon's standard lens for capturing surf from shore. It adds vibration reduction (VR) to the older AF 600mm f/4 lens. VR doesn't mean much for sports unless slow panning is your thing, but VR is crucial for wildlife photographers who always work with insufficient light or with teleconverters.

This 600mm f/4 VR focuses at 16.4ft or 5m and even slightly closer in manual focus. Personally, I have used 600mm lenses for nature and landscape photography. I've always loved how I can reframe a narrow picture of reality. For example, point a 600mm lens at the reflection of the setting sun off a mirrored office building or the wet sand of a beach and your image will explode with light and colour.
