Description: 

Up for auction is custom VW Bus golf cart. Designed after a 1967 VW bus. Built on a Taylor Dunn electric cart frame the body is built from 1" rectangular tube and 1.25" tube covered in 1/4 plywood-fiberglass combination for smooth finish. The PPG Paint the actual VW color choices in '67. Cart is powered by new 48v batteries, Alltrax controller, plum Quick torque motor.

Rear axle is out of a Yamaha G22. Cart has headlights, taillights, turn signals, stereo, new wiring harness and battery indicator. Front windshields are hinged just like real bus. New tie rod ends. New batteries installed last week.

Cart has some small paint chips on front bumper and body from use and a small crack in windshield which a Wahoo's sticker covers. Comes with 48v charger. We have had many fond memories in this cart. It is a lot of fun and gets attention everywhere it goes.

Great in parades. The cart drives good, with top speed of about 15MPH. It is not street legal, it is considered a golf cart, so local cart rules apply.
