Volkswagen Golf. Hello I am selling my Golf Mark III citystromer. This car is being sold as is used no implied warranty and have stated all deficiencies and condition. A total of 120 cars were built until 1996.

Price is negotiable. It was purchased 2 years ago for a commuter and restoration project. (But trying to buy a farm so it must go.) I have purchased 2 new front fender and mount kits and both lower rocker panels. (unpainted.) These are included with sale.The car is still plated but EU is expired. When purchased 2 years ago replaced all the batteries and installed new radio.

All new brakes and drums and rotors both rear emergency brake cables. New rear trailing arm bushings. Have service manuals (in German) and diagnostic cables and software disks but you will need a 486 pentium PC to run it. Have fixed webasto diesel heater. Car is currently not running but was keeping batteries charged and stored in doors.

It was driving till mid summer 2019. The car would randomly shut down while driving. Some rust as seen in pics. I have started to inspect and clean all the connectors.The BBS wheels are not included with sell only have winter tires on stock (like new rims) steel rims. Nice piece of automotive history that I believe it could be easily fixed.

I have started to replace the current sensors in the motor controller and will try to start it this coming weekend 30/05/20. If this works I will get car re-approved for EU. If this works I will get car re-approved for EU.Found on 6/6 20 there was a damaged coil resistor that was not factory installed in the onboard charger that has broken and overheated against a relay which was causing the under voltage issue all along. I have thus far not been able to lay my hands on the correct parts to properly repair the factory charger. I am purchasing a house so project needs to go.

Would consider a negotiation on price if car was to go to a museum as there are not many of these left in the world. Vehicle is located in Softeland, Norway Zip code is 5229 (South of Bergen) and will need picked up from the storage unit. Plates are still on it but car is not EU approved.
